Shipping & Delivery Policy

Canberra Regional Firewood is a family-owned local business delivering firewood across Canberra, the ACT and Queanbeyan. We deliver orders using our own team and vehicles to ensure reliable service and careful handling.

Quick Delivery Options:
Delivery can be scheduled for as early as next-day (subject to availability and order volume). Same-day delivery may be available in limited time slots where possible.

1) Local Delivery (Our Team)

All deliveries are completed by Canberra Regional Firewood. This allows us to keep your delivery organised, communicate clearly, and deliver safely to your property.

2) Delivery Scheduling

Where available, you may be able to select a preferred delivery date at checkout. If you do not select a date, our team will schedule the earliest available delivery window and may contact you to confirm.

  • Next-day delivery: available most days (subject to route capacity)
  • Same-day delivery: limited availability and not guaranteed
  • Weather / operational delays: may impact timing during peak periods

3) If You’re Not Home

You do not need to be home for delivery, as long as you provide clear instructions at checkout. If access is restricted (gates, narrow driveways, pets, locked areas), please let us know before delivery.

Helpful delivery notes include:
  • Where you’d like the order placed (e.g. “Left side of driveway”)
  • Access details (gate code, best entry point, steep driveway notes)
  • Any hazards to avoid (pets, sprinklers, soft ground, low branches)

4) Kerbside Delivery Drops

For safety and access reasons, all deliveries are completed as a kerbside drop. This means your order will be placed at the front of the property or the nearest safe and accessible location.

Please ensure the delivery location is clear and accessible. If access is unsafe, restricted, or may cause property damage, the driver may place the order at the nearest practical kerbside position.

5) Delivery Instructions & Responsibility

If instructions are not provided, we will complete delivery to the best safe location available. By placing an order, you confirm you have permission for delivery to occur at the nominated address and location.
